Janey Bell, Faculty Member
“I believe that we can be our own worst critic and I feel it is vital that we show compassion to ourselves on our learning journey. I will help you acknowledge your unique strengths and build upon your successes. I will encourage, motivate and inspire you in becoming the coach you wish to be.”
— Janey Bell
As an executive coach my aim is to provide clients with a space where they can pause and think strategically about themselves: to reflect on how they are and to define how they want to be. I believe that the relationship between the coach and coachee is critical to the success of the coaching programme.
Janey is pragmatic, results-focused and believes learning should be fun. Her style is challenging, supportive, energetic and motivating. The starting point is to identify any limiting beliefs and assumptions which may be a barrier to success and then to work on replacing them with empowering beliefs and thinking patterns to support in the achievement of professional and personal goals.
Janey has built a reputation for working with clients who wish to strengthen their self-belief and confidence. Even the most successful people have areas where they wish they were less self-critical and judgmental.
Janey has over 17 years’ experience as an executive coach and facilitator. She has worked across a wide spectrum of industries in the private, public and educational sectors. She has coached at all levels within global organisations including directors, senior managers, high potentials and middle managers and across all functions.
In addition to her first degree, Janey holds a MBA from the Open University Business School. She is a Certified Trainer and Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and a Certified Coach in NLP. She has developed her skills in Mindfulness and Presence; Neuroscience and Positive Psychology.
