About Adé Adeniji

Ade brings a presence-based approach to his coaching practice, which includes mindfulness and embodied centering, creativity and systemic mapping. He is a certified Dare to Lead™️ facilitator (based on the research of Dr Brené Brown) and he integrates the key skillsets from the findings into his practice (Navigating Vulnerability, Living into our Values, BRAVING Trust and Learning to Rise).

Ade has over 25 years experience in Human Resources and Leadership Development — spanning the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. He was Human Resources Director with Liberty Global Europe. Prior to that, Ade was Head of Human Resources with Guardian News and Media Ltd. He has also held other HR roles with the Financial Ombudsman Service, ITV, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Cabinet Office and the Government Legal Service. Previous clients include BBC, Economist, Philips, Wellcome Trust, Plan International, eHealth Africa, Netflix, Buzzfeed, Douwe Egberts, Unilever, Siemens and PwC.

Ade is well versed in developing relationships and putting clients at ease, allowing them to move into a vulnerable and brave space that facilitates deep understanding and transformation. He is passionate about making the implicit explicit and exploring how that plays out personally, relationally and systemically. As a practitioner he is keen on helping clients cultivate the necessary habits for emotional regulation and relational hygiene.

Over the last seven years, Ade’s coaching practice has focused on working primarily with senior leaders from different sectors and professional backgrounds. Themes explored have included – imposter syndrome, managing competing priorities, navigating conflict, emotional intelligence, Influencing organisational culture & systems and cultivating self-compassion. The sessions have created an opportunity for the leaders to pause, reflect and cultivate the insights to be more intentional in how they are showing up for themselves and in their interactions with colleagues, teams and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

Certificate in Coaching Skills; currently completing an Advanced Diploma in Transformational Coaching. Ade is a  member of the ICF and a Chartered Member of the CIPD.
