Core Team
Damion Wonfor | FOUNDER
I first encountered coaching in the late 1990s whilst I was working in a Financial Services organisation and there was a deep connection and calling to me. Coaching has become my path ever since, enabling me to live my purpose of ‘making a difference’, initially as an internal coach and then leaving my corporate career and joining a coaching consultancy in 2008.
I hold a deep gratitude and respect for all my teachers over the years including Sir John Whitmore, Diana Whitmore, Charles Brook, David Whittaker, Sue Slocombe, Vici Williams, Ed Rowland and Nicola Dunn.
Setting up Catalyst 14 in 2017 enabled me to pull together all my experiences in training coaches and the strands of my work in Coaching, Supervision and Mindfulness.
I feel blessed to work with an exceptional team and to have the opportunity to support inspiring people across the Private, Public, Third sectors and in elite sport.
Outside of leading Catalyst 14, I live in Kent with my wife and three daughters. I have interests in Eastern Psychology, Yoga and enjoy playing tennis and running.

Liz Palmer | Partner
I first trained as a coach in 2011 after a long professional break to raise my two sons. Having spent all of my early career in manufacturing industries working to improve the performance of individuals and teams, coaching was a way of getting back to work that I enjoyed whilst also being able to care for my children.
My youngest son has severe autism which has had a profound impact on my own journey as a coach. My interest in Clean Language and Gestalt approaches in my coaching work come from supporting him to find his own potential and bring that into the world.
I first met Damion in 2013 and we quickly discovered we shared a purpose and set of values around the work we do. I was delighted to join Damion at Catalyst14 in 2019 and, like Damion, feel blessed to work with such an exceptional team, to be able to support people across a wide range of sectors and be a part of an inspiring community of coaches.
I live in Berkshire with my husband and we enjoy regular visits with our two lovely sons. Any spare time I have you will find me rowing on the Thames.
