“There is no shop, book, or person, that gives you confidence; it comes through reconnecting with your true authentic self.”Ralph Smart
We left these days feeling very inspired and appreciating the opportunity to focus on enhancing our craft in the company of like-minded professional coaches. If you were there, I am sure you will agree.
From this experience, we have developed an exciting new CPD opportunity for our alumni, Reconnecting, Deepen and Practice sessions. These will commence in 2023.
Reconnect, Deepen and Practise sessions
Working as a coach can be a lonely experience, and once you have completed your qualification it can be difficult to get ongoing, high-quality feedback on your practice with which to hone and extend your skills as a coach and meet with a strong peer group.
Our ‘Reconnect, Deepen and Practise’ sessions aim to meet these needs, enabling you to connect, develop and practise in a safe and non-judgemental environment. The sessions will also provide you with opportunities to stretch and develop new skills and approaches and to work with other experienced coaches.
We are running a face-to-face session on Wednesday 8th February, and an online session on Wednesday 19th April. Places on each session are limited to 12 to ensure that everyone attending will receive feedback both from their fellow coaches and also from our Faculty. We hope you can join us — you can find out more about the sessions and book yours here.

Using your Coaching Skills for Commercial Advantage

Neurodiversity and Coaching
In this webinar, Liz Palmer, Partner at Catalyst 14, is in discussion with Executive Coaches Charmain Bucho and Laura Nielson about their experiences of supporting neurodiversity in coaching.
Here are some of our recent posts that have been written in response to themes being brought to supervision by coaches over recent months:
- Is it ok to give advice? – in this post, I explore why giving advice may have become a hardwired conversational habit — and what we can do to shift from “doing” to “being” in a coaching conversation, so we learn to create value in a much more impactful way.
- How a traditional Japanese concept can help us create more “aha” moments in coaching— in this post, Paul Golding, Executive Coach and Faculty member discusses how the concept of ‘Ma’ can help coaches to create moments of insight.
Free guided mindfulness sessions
Finally, to support your practice of self-care and to deepen your presence as a coach, we are continuing to offer free guided mindfulness sessions on a weekly basis to help you pause and reset.
